“Hunger” (1974) – Short Film

A  short film from 1974 by Peter Foldès, Hunger is a wonderfully grotesque animated critique of indulgence and greed. Distributed by the National Film Board of Canada, Hunger won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at Cannes in 1974, a BAFTA for Best Short film in 1975, and was the first film with computer animation to be nominated for an Oscar.
